Montani semper drunkeni
In honor of WVU once again attaining the "distinguished" rating of the #1 party school and the school where students spend the least amount of time studying, here is a clip of some of WVU's "finest" doing what they do best, burning stuff...
Meanwhile, here is Marshall's Joan C. Edwards Stadium about a half-hour before kick-off on a Saturday (not really, but this isn't too far off). Where is everyone? They went back home to their homes in Logan, Wayne, and Hamlin like they do every friggin' weekend.
Between the stereotype-reinforcing, ACC-repelling behavior in Morganhole and the ho-hum, under-funded, suitcase atmosphere in Moneyton, you can see why I am busting my ass to save money so that my kid(s) aren't hamstringed like I was into going to the in-state public school that did the best job of showing me the money: MU (full ride) beat out WVU (half ride) and Concord (less-exciting full ride).
I'm going to do all that I can so my son and any future James children can go to any school that they choose and can gain admission, like here, here, or here.

Hey now ... I take offense at that subject line. "The Pride of West Virginia" is the WVU Marching Band (of which I am an alum) and we have nothing to do with such behaviors.
Fartknocker! :P
Fair enough, name duly changed...
You know, I suspect that if WV wasn't already on the bottom of every good survey this would not be an issue at all.
As it is, our state in in the commode and this doesn't help. WVU and Marshall have given the world some good graduates.
I, on the other hand, graduated from WV State and am attending Mountain State U. :X
Unfortunately, most of those good graduates are in NC and OH. WV gets stuck with me. :P
As for State, it is a beautiful campus, 'cept for tha giant elephant in the living room (the chemical plants all around).
