Bob Bailey needs YouTube.
Huntington mayoral candidate Bob Bailey has a commercial out now where he takes credit for every single good thing to ever happen to Huntington (his actual involvement be damned).
I have only seen it once, though, and was hoping to find it on YouTube. I searched bob bailey mayor, but all I found were these two videos.
One of him slamming the door in some guy's face:
and one of some British National Party wingnut:
I guess this brings me to my point. If you are a candidate for public office who has paid someone to make a TV advert for you, make she that he or she uploads the video to YouTube. It is totally free and will greatly expand the exposure of your message through blog posts and Google hits.
Otherwise, everyone will just think you are a door-slamming, British anti-immigrant activist...

Bob Bailey is a door-slamming Jacknut. Interesting how he's running on a campaign theme of "change" when he's been a Huntington politician for 20 years.
What he fails to mention in his ads is his key role in closing Time Out Youth Shelter in 2004, which provided shelter for runaways and homeless youth in Huntington, who now are on their own far too often.
He turned down federal and state money that would have kept the shelter open, so they (Southwestern Community Action Council on which he served as a Board member) could lease the building for a profit. The fact that federal runaway grants paid for the building and that runaways were left to fend for (or sell) themselves to get by, didn't matter to them.
Bailey slammed his door on teens in Huntington and the tri-state. He would NEVER get my vote.
I'm just sayin.
