John Prine Wednesday
Nothing makes Wednesdays better than the work of one of America's greatest living singer-songwriters, John Prine.

That was a great video for Paradise, which is one of my favorite songs of all time. I actually sing this to my daughter at bedtime.
Speaking of my daughter and John Prine, her first concert was John Prine. I took her to see him at the Creative Arts Center in Morgantown last fall. She was barely one year old. I was worried that she would not do very well and that I would have to leave early, but it turned out that she LOVED IT! She would clap and dance with the music. It was awesome watching her have so much fun.
Toward the end of the night I could tell that she was getting tired. She climbed on my lap and wasn't dancing like she had been. Guess what he played for an Encore. That's right, Paradise. And guess who fell asleep during Paradise? Nope, not me, but my daughter did.
I can't wait until she is old enough to understand how cool it is that John Prine sang her bedtime song to her when she was so young.
That is the single best blog comment since a guy out of Jerusalem known as User:JaySeeeSupaStah! posted the "sermon on teh mount" on PilateBlog.com some 2000 years ago.
